I've made the first step. I made an appointment at a hair salon downtown to get my hair cut and colored. i'm going to do it. my hair is almost past my butt now, and i haven't colored it since before graduation, so it's been more than a year (I graduated in December of 2003). I want my hair somewhere past my shoulders and a natural looking red -- like Julianne Moore color.
I'm so nervous.

Hair past the butt?? That's like Crystal Gayle territory!
there's a girl at work with hair is past her knees, but she's philipino. and when i was in school there was a girl from south america with hair way past her butt, but it was against her customs to cut it until she got married. i'm just lazy and (physically) attached to mine.
I am so dying to hear how you like the new hairstyle!
Red is a beautiful color; not that I'm prejudiced or anything :)
My appointment is Thursday, so maybe I'll post pictures. :P
